Below are details of our senior staff and our receptionist.
Nigel A. Jones BA (Hons)
- Position: Senior Director Solicitor
- About: Nigel trained in Fleet Street, London and then practiced for some years in the City of London after he qualified as a solicitor in 1986. He returned home to Cardiff in 1990 and established his own firm, the root of JMD LAW, in 1992. He heads the Commercial Law and Litigation Department at JMD LAW and deals with national and international high value and complex commercial litigation, maximum severity clinical negligence disputes and Defamation cases. He is one of a small handful of Solicitors in Wales specialising in Defamation Law. He is also passionate about advising the Elderly and vulnerable, for whom he acts as Attorney to many, is a STEP member and has recently been appointed to the Office of the Public Guardian Panel of Deputies. His outside interests include all sports, squash, skiing, golf, musical theatre, cinema and socialising. Nigel is the driving force behind JMD LAW's Tenby Annual Boxing Day swim raising money for various charities. His present charities are BRAKE, the Road Safety Charity, the Down's Syndrome Association and Age UK.

Nicola J. Davies BA (Hons)
- Position: Director Solicitor
- About:
Nicola qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 and is now head of Litigation at JMD Law, specialising in accident and clinical negligence claims. She has been a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel for nearly 15 years and is recognised as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Her interests include foreign travel, golf and cookery. Her charity is AVMA (Action against Medical Accidents) and BRAKE, the Road Safety charity. - Email: nicola.davies@jmdlaw.co.uk
Rhodri Howells LL.B (Hons)
- Position: Senior Associate Solicitor
- About: Rhodri heads JMD LAW's residential property department following the retirement of Tony O'Keeffe. He continues to develop and move the Department forward through his knowledge of the subject, his expertise in Land Registration requirements and his flair for IT. Rhodri appreciates, as we all do at JMD LAW, that buying a property can be the biggest financial commitment a client might make and works tirelessly to deliver a quality legal service at a competitive price. Rhodri is a Welsh speaker and keen sportsman. He is one of the participants in JMD LAW's Tenby Boxing Day swim. His charity is Velindre Cancer Centre.

Nick O'Sullivan LLB (Hons)
- Position: Senior Solicitor
- About: Nick heads JMD LAW's Private Client Department specialising in Wills and Probate, Trusts, Tax Planning, Wealth Management and Elderly Client Advice. Nick has dedicated his career to the areas in which he now specialises. Nick enjoys all sports, marathon running and entertaining. He is currently learning Welsh. His Charity is Age UK.

Laura Henderson LL.B (Hons)
- Postion: Trainee Solicitor
- About: Laura joined the firm after attaining a 1st Class Honours degree in Law from Swansea University and presently assists all members of the firm in their various departments. Laura has a passion for advising the Elderly Client as well as commercial litigation and has recently been involved in the categorisation of highly valuable gemstones and diamonds as the subjects of one of her cases. She enjoys cooking, socialising, keeping fit and sweets(!). Her charity is the NSPCC.

Yvonne Jones
- Position: Senior Secretary / PA
- About: Yvonne is responsible for the recruitment, training and management of JMD LAW's Secretaries. Yvonne has spent her entire career as a Secretary having gained her experiences with top London City Firms. A devout Newcastle United Football fan, Yvonne is a master cook and enjoys time with her cats and family. Her Charities are the Cats Protection and the NSPCC.

Ceri Greenslade
- Position: Conveyancing Secretary
- About: Ceri is a highly experienced secretary of many years standing in our Property departments in which she assists Adam Jones and Rhodri Howells. She enjoys socialising, cooking, family and friends and is an avid birdwatcher often spending her weekends hiding in the reeds of Cosmeston lake armed with her binoculars. Bill Oddie is her hero. Her charity is the RSPB.

Parvaneh Naseriyan
- Position: Secretary / PA
- About: Parvaneh is our most recent recruit. She studied a edia degree at the University of Central Lancashire which involved spending 6 months at the University of Central Connecticut on an exchange programme. Parvaneh is currently studying the Legal Practice Course part time at Cardiff University
- Interests: Outside of work Parvaneh enjoys eating out, reading fashon magazines, shopping, playing tennis and travelling.

Carly Enright
- Position: Head Receptionist and Administrator
- About: Carly works front of house in our reception and is the first port of call for Clients. Always attentive, helpful, approachable and sincere, Carly enjoys meeting and helping Clients putting them at ease with her famous tea and coffee. Carly is a keen shopper and enjoys reading and music. Her Charity is Cancer Research UK.
