At JMD LAW we are proud of our professional and support staff, who have an important role in delivering a quality legal service to all our clients.
Below are details of our senior staff and our receptionist.
Nigel A. Jones BA (Hons)
- Position: Senior Director Solicitor
- About: Nigel trained in Fleet Street, London and then practicised for some years in the City of London after he qualified as a solicitor in 1986. He returned home to Cardiff in 1990 and established his own firm, the root of JMD LAW, in 1992. He heads the Commercial Law Department at JMD LAW with an emphasis on business and employment related matters but also has a passion for advising the Elderly (for whom he acts as Attorney to many and is a STEP member) and high value, complex clinical negligence disputes. His outside interests include all sports, squash, skiing, musical theatre, cinema and socialising. Nigel is the driving force behind JMD LAW's Tenby Annual Boxing Day swim raising money for our chosen charity which this year is the Down's Syndrome Association.

Nicola J. Davies BA (Hons)
- Position: Director Solicitor
- About:
Nicola qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 and is now head of Litigation at JMD Law, specialising in accident and clinical negligence claims. She has been a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel for nearly 15 years and is recognised as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Rhodri Howells LL.B (Hons)
- Position: Senior Associate Solicitor
- About: Rhodri heads JMD LAW's residential property department following the retirement of Tony O'Keeffe. He continues to develop and move the Department forward through his knowledge of the subject, his expertise in Land Registration requirements and his flair for IT. Rhodri appreciates, as we all do at JMD LAW, that buying a property can be the biggest financial commitment a client might make and works tirelessly to deliver a quality legal service at a competitive price. Rhodri is a Welsh speaker and keen sportsman. He is one of the participants in JMD LAW's Tenby Boxing Day swim and is busy raising money for our chosen charity for that event, the Down's Syndrome Association.

Aron McMahon BA (Hons) TEP
- Position: Senior Solicitor
- About: Aron heads JMD LAW's Private Client Department specialising in Wills and Probate, Trusts, Tax Planning, Wealth Management and Elderly Client Advice. Aron is a TEP (Trusts and Estates Practitioner), a highly regarded qualification within his field, and a member of STEP. Aron joined JMD LAW from a notable and respected South West Firm and has dedicated his career to the area in which he now specialises. Aron enjoys walking, collecting vinyl records, skiing and foreign travel.

Adam Jones LL.M
- Position: Senior Solicitor
- About: Adam heads JMD LAW's Commercial Property Department dealing with all aspects of Commercial property from shops, bars and restaurants to multi-million pound developments. Adam joined JMD LAW after practising in well known Cardiff City practices and after a short but enlightening period of lecturing law at local colleges. Adam enjoys reading medieval history, the social aspects of rugby, gardening and restoring classic cars.

Yvonne Jones
- Position: Senior Secretary
- About: Yvonne is responsible for the recruitment, training and management of JMD LAW's Secretaries and is PA to Nicola Davies, Director Solicitor. Yvonne has spent her entire career as a Secretary having gained her experiences with top London City Firms. A devout Newcastle United Football fan, Yvonne is a master cook and enjoys time with her cats and family.

Carly Enright
- Position: Head Receptionist and Administrator
- About: Carly works front of house in our reception and is the first port of call for Clients. Always attentive, helpful, approachable and sincere, Carly enjoys meeting and helping Clients putting them at ease with her famous tea and coffee. Carly is a keen shopper and enjoys reading and music.
